All the PDFs on your site are locked. How do I quote bits in my own publication?

Become a Digital Dots Client or Publishing Partner or make special arrangements with Laurel Brunner. As a general rule, Spindrift and all PDFs on this site will always be locked.

Does the above mean that if I give you a scanner, I’m not necessarily going to get a good review in Spindrift?

That’s exactly what it means. We’ll happily take the scanner though, and wax lyrical about your generosity.

Why do your site and publications carry no advertising?

Because we are an independent organisation and want to stay that way. We think our customers and readers appreciate the fact that we don’t slither along the floor in whichever direction the coin is rolling. Well, some of them anyway.

You alternate between humour and seriousness. What’s that all about?

It could be an elaborate ploy to somehow (in a deceptive way that only WE understand) separate you from a bit of your hard-earned cash, or… perhaps we just think life is like that: funny and serious.
